Code No. C2007: Power supply high voltage (VP)




OPERATION


The EV-ECU control power supply is applied to the EV-ECU via a fuse with the power switch set to the ON position.

PROBABLE CAUSES




DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. ?Check whether the diagnosis code is set.


Check if the diagnosis code No. P0A09 for other systems is set to the EV-ECU.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Carry out troubleshooting for the diagnosis code P0A09. (Refer to .)
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. M.U.T.-III actuator test and service data


Perform the actuator test (refer to ), and check the service data of the EV control relay (refer to ).

  • Item No. 2 : 12 V DC DC shutdown

  • Item No. 83 : Control power supply voltage
OK: The voltage value varies between 3.7 V and 3.9 V / 3.3 V and 3.5 V depending on activation / deactivation of the DC-DC converter.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.
Carry out the troubleshooting for the EV-ECU diagnosis code P0A09. (Refer to .)

STEP 3. Diagnosis code recheck


Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Replace the EV-ECU. (Refer to .) Then go to Step 4.

STEP 4. Diagnosis code recheck


Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Return to Step 1.
The diagnosis is complete.
