Check Conditions
  • 3 seconds elapse after the electric motor switch is turned ON, or 3 seconds elapse after the main battery starts to be charged.
  • Balancer allowed to be driven is OFF.
  • None of the following diagnosis codes occur at the same time.

    1. P1AA8: Local CAN (for main battery) signal time-out
    2. U1082: Local CAN (for main battery) bus off
Judgement Criterion
  • The signal is received from the appropriate module CMU, which shows that one of the balancer driving conditions is turned ON.


  • Not available


  • The module (CMU) in the main battery is failed.
  • The BMU is failed.

  • Check the data list reference table corresponding to the diagnosis code (Refer to ).
OK: OFF (electric motor switch: ON)

Go to Step 2 .

STEP 2. After replacing the main battery, reconfirm the diagnosis code.

  • After replacing the main battery, reconfirm whether the diagnosis codes are set.

Replace the BMU.
