The service plug switch in the traction battery sets the service plug state to the EV-ECU by means of the service plug switch signal.
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
When the signal of the service plug switch in the traction battery is turned off, the diagnosis code No. P0A0A will be set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Damaged wiring harness or connector(s)
Disengagement of the service plug
Malfunction of the traction battery
Malfunction of the EV-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Measure the voltage at C-22 traction battery assembly connector.
(1)Check the connection of the service plug. (The service plug switch is set to ON.)
(2)Disconnect the C-22 traction battery connector, and measure the voltage at the traction battery side.
(3)Turn the electric motor switch to the "ON" position.
(4)Measure the voltage between the C-22 traction battery assembly connector terminal No. 4 and the body earth. OK: Battery voltage

STEP 2. Connector check: C-22 traction battery connector, A-08X EV control relay (relay box) connecter

Repair the damaged connector. Or, correct or replace the relay box.
STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between A-08X EV control relay (relay box) connector terminal No. 1 and C-22 traction battery connector terminal No. 4.
Check the power supply line for open circuit.

Go to Step 4.
Repair the wiring harness.
STEP 4. Measure the resistance at C-22, C-21 traction battery connector.
(1)Disconnect the traction battery connector, and measure the resistance at the traction battery side.
(2)Measure the resistance between the C-22 traction battery connector terminal No. 4 and the C-21 traction battery connecter terminal No. 4. (Refer to .)
