SUPPORT POSITIONS FOR A GARAGE JACK, RIGID RACKS, SINGLE-POST LIFT OR DOUBLE-POST LIFT AND PLATE TYPE LIFT



<GARAGE JACK>

  • Always support the vehicle at the specified garage jack setting positions. If the vehicle is supported at other than the specified positions, the vehicle may be damaged or an unexpected accident may occur.
  • When lifting the rear side, do not support the vehicle at the electric motor unit, transmission, or under cover (hatched area shown in the figure). If the vehicle is supported at the electric motor unit, transmission, or under cover (hatched area shown in the figure), the vehicle may be damaged.

<PLATE TYPE LIFT>

  • Use caution not to support with the spacer or others at the under cover part.
  • Be careful not to contact the plate of plate type lift against the trailing arm bracket in the rear. If the vehicle is lifted with the plate contacted against the trailing arm bracket, the vehicle may be damaged.


Support the vehicle using the 100 × 100 × 200 mm spacer at the notched position.



When the rear-side plate contacts against the trailing arm bracket, use a spacer having a sufficient height or adjust the spacer height using a plate or others, and then support the vehicle at the notched position.
