1.Remove the luggage compartment floor carpet.

2.Remove the electric motor unit inspection lid.
|
|
3.Use the special tool below.
- Radiator cap tester (MB992193)
- Radiator cap tester adapter set (MB992190)

After checking for any foreign material deposition to the radiator condenser tank cap seal, be sure to apply water.
|
Install the radiator condenser tank cap to the special tool, and check that the valve opening pressure is within the standard value.
Standard value: 14 to 44 kPa
5.If not within the standard value, replace the radiator condenser tank cap.

|
6.Securely install the radiator condenser tank cap to the lock position of radiator condenser tank (until it clicks in place).
7.Install the electric motor unit inspection lid.
8.Install the luggage compartment floor carpet.
