3.Have the Ready indicator illuminated, and release the parking brake, then operate the selector lever from the N position to D, B, or C position, and check that the vehicle moves forward. Also, check that the vehicle moves rearward when the selector lever is shifted to the R position.
4.Have the Ready indicator turned OFF.
5.Turn the electric motor switch ON, and move the selector lever from the P position to R position. The back-up lamp should illuminate, and the reverse alarm buzzer should sound.
| note | Because the transmission misoperation preventive device is equipped, the selector lever
cannot be moved out of the P position unless the electric motor switch is turned to the position
other than LOCK (OFF) and the brake pedal is depressed. |
