1.Carry out the following check.

Electric motor switch position: ACC
|
Brake pedal: Depressed
|
The selector lever can be moved from P position to other positions smoothly.

Brake pedal: Not depressed
|
The selector lever cannot be moved out of P position.
|

|
|
2.When there is a problem with above operation, remove and reassemble the shift lock cable (selector lever side). (Refer to  .)
|
|
|
3.After the assembly, perform the operation check again. If there is a problem, replace the shift lock cable. (Refer to .)
