CHECK VALVE OPERATION CHECK


1.
caution Do not remove the check valve from the vacuum hose.
Remove the vacuum hose (with built-in check valve) in the bonnet compartment and the vacuum hose assembly in the electric motor unit room. (refer to ) <LHD> or (refer to ) <RHD>.

2.Use the hand vacuum pump to check the operation of the check valve.

Normal condition
When connected to the brake booster side
Vacuum should be generated and maintained.
When connected to the brake electric vacuum pump side
No vacuum should be generated.
3.When an abnormality is present, replace the vacuum hose (with built-in check valve) and the vacuum hose assembly.
4.When an abnormality is not present, install the vacuum hose (with built-in check valve) and the vacuum hose assembly with care not to confuse the hose direction (refer to ) <LHD> or (refer to ) <RHD>.
