It is monitored that the input voltage from the accelerator pedal position
sensor (sub) is normally converted to a digital signal in the EV-ECU.
The conversion time of the following sensor voltage into a digital signal is monitored.
Accelerator pedal position sensor
Coolant temperature sensor
Brake booster vacuum sensor
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
When the periodic accelerator pedal position sensor (sub)
compares the digital conversion value, and detects abnormality, the diagnosis code No. P060B
will be set.
If the conversion time of the AD (analog digital) converter exceeds the specified
value, the diagnosis code No. P060B will be set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of the EV-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Diagnosis code recheck
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
Q.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the EV-ECU. (Refer to .) Then go to Step
2.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection
Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction .)
STEP 2. Diagnosis code recheck
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
