WARNING LAMP AND INDICATOR CHECK



ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT WARNING LAMP



1.Check that the electric motor unit warning lamp illuminates as below.

  • When the electric motor switch is set to the ON position, the electric motor unit warning lamp illuminates, and then goes out in a few seconds.
2.Otherwise, the EV-ECU or combination meter may be faulty. Check the diagnosis code for the EV-ECU or combination meter. (Refer to . Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter - Diagnosis Code Chart .)

BRAKE WARNING LAMP



1.Check that the brake warning lamp illuminates as below.

  • When the electric motor switch is set to the ON position, the brake warning lamp illuminates, and then goes out in a few seconds.

  • : The brake warning lamp does not go out when the parking brake is applied or when the brake fluid level is low.
2.Otherwise, the brake vacuum pressure system or combination meter may be faulty. Check the diagnosis code for the EV-ECU or combination meter. (Refer to . Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter - Diagnosis Code Chart .)

AUXILIARY BATTERY CHARGING WARNING LAMP



1.Check that the auxiliary battery warning lamp illuminates as below.

  • When the electric motor switch is set to the ON position, the auxiliary battery warning lamp illuminates, and then goes out in a few seconds.
2.Otherwise, the DC-DC converter or combination meter may be faulty. Check the diagnosis code for the EV-ECU or combination meter. (Refer to . Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter - Diagnosis Code Chart .)
