CURRENT SENSOR SIMPLIFIED CHECK


Perform the simplified check for the current sensor as follows.

1.As shown in the figure, set a clamp-type ammeter to the main battery cable.
2.Set the vehicle to the status shown below and measure the current.
caution Do not operate cooling and heating.

  • Illuminate the Ready indicator.
  • Set the selector lever to the P position.
  • Illuminate the high beam.
  • Set the rear defogger switch to ON.
  • Set the A/C temperature adjustment dial to the · position.
  • Set the A/C switch to OFF.
  • Set the A/C MAX switch to ON.
3.Check the item No. 13 and 14 of the BMU service data. (Refer to .)
4.Check that the value measured by a clamp-type ammeter agrees with the service data.
