REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> MOTOR (ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT) CABLE DISCONNECTION

1.Remove the inner cable mounting bolts (3 locations).

2.
caution Do not remove the mounting bolts (3 locations) shown in the figure.
Remove the outer cable mounting bolts (4 locations).
3.Pull out the cable from the inverter.

<<B>> RADIATOR PIPING HOSE DISCONNECTION

Put a mating mark before removal as shown in the figure in order to assemble the hose and hose clips to the original positions.

<<C> WATER PUMP REMOVAL

1.Remove the water pump with hose attached from the motor frame.
2.Fix the removed water pump at a position that does not interfere the removal and installation of the motor (electric motor unit) & transmission assembly using a string or the equivalent.

<<D>> MOTOR (ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT) & TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

1.Hold the motor (electric motor unit) & transmission assembly with a transmission jack and remove the motor mounting insulator mounting bolts and nuts.
2.Check that the hoses and wiring harnesses are not caught and remove the motor (electric motor unit) & transmission assembly with the motor mounting front insulator installed.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< TRANSMISSION CONNECTING JOINT INSTALLATION

1.Remove the grease adhering on the inner surface of the transmission connecting joint.

2.Apply a light coating of the designated grease evenly on inner surface of the transmission connecting joint at the position shown in the figure.

    Specified grease: Molykote BR-2 Plus
    Usage: 0.1 to 0.3 g
note Application of the grease on the axis side of the transmission and motor (electric motor unit) is unnecessary.

>>B<< RADIATOR PIPING HOSE CONNECTION

1.Insert the hose to each pipe up to the convex portion.
2.Align the mating marks on the hose and hose clips and install the hose without twisting the hose.

>>C<< MOTOR (ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT) CABLE CONNECTION

1.Install the cable onto the inverter.
2.Install the outer cable mounting bolts and inner cable mounting bolts in this order and tighten them to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 7.0 ± 3.0 N·m
