a diagnosis code might be set depending on the service status. Therefore, check the interview information
before the diagnosis.
ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the MCU detects a resolver/digital converter abnormality when the electric
motor switch is set to the ON position, it will set the diagnosis code No. P0A43.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of the resolver circuit system
Malfunction of the motor (electric motor unit)
Malfunction of the MCU

STEP 1. Connector check: E-07 MCU, motor (electric motor
unit) connector check

Is the check result normal?
YES : Go to Step 2.
Repair the damaged connector.
STEP 2. Measure the resistance of the resolver.
(1)Disconnect the E-07 MCU, motor (electric motor unit) connector.
(2)Measure the resolver resistance between the E-07 motor (electric motor unit) connector
terminals.

Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the MCU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Replace the MCU. (Refer to .) Then go to
