Code No. P0A51: Current sensor error (MCU)
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the MCU detects an overcurrent of the motor coil, it will set the diagnosis code No. P1A23.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the MCU (current sensor)

STEP 1. Diagnosis code recheck
|
|
|
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the MCU.
|
|
|
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
|
|
|
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
|
|
|
(3)Set the electric motor switch to the LOCK (OFF) position, and start the electric motor unit.
|
|
|
(5)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

STEP 2. Diagnosis code recheck
|
|
|
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the MCU.

|
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
|
|
|
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
|
|
|
(3)Set the electric motor switch to the LOCK (OFF) position, and start the electric motor unit.

(5)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
