Code No. P0ABA:
Motor drive voltage sensor error (MCU)
ELECTRIC MOTOR UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT

DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the smooth condenser voltage is kept at 10 V or less while the READY indicator lamp
is lit, the MCU will set the diagnosis code No. P0ABA.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Damaged high-voltage harness wires
- Malfunction of the MCU (smooth condenser voltage sensor)

STEP 1. High-voltage connector check: G-05, G-06 MCU high-voltage
terminal, G-18, G-19 main battery high-voltage terminal
| danger |
Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading
carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle. (Refer to .)
| danger |
Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
(1)Shut down the high voltage.
(2)Check that the following terminals are tightened to the specified torque. (Refer
to , .)
- G-05, G-06 MCU high-voltage terminal
- G-18, G-19 main battery high-voltage terminal
Q.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Tighten the high-voltage terminal to the specified torque. Refer to , .)
STEP 2. G-05, G-06 MCU to G-18, G-19 main battery high-voltage harness
check
| danger |
Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading
carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle. (Refer to .)
| danger |
Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
(1)Shut down the high voltage.
(2)Visual check between the G-05, G-06 MCU high-voltage terminal and G-18, G-19 main
battery high-voltage terminal
Q.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Replace the high-voltage harness.
STEP 3. Diagnosis code recheck
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the MCU.
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(3)Set the electric motor switch to the "START" position, and start the electric motor
unit.
(4)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
Q.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the MCU.(Refer to .) Then go to Step
4.
The diagnosis is complete.
STEP 4.
Go to Step 1.
The diagnosis is complete.
