Motor drive voltage rise (MCU)
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the smooth condenser voltage is kept at 400 V or more in the driving mode, the MCU
will set the diagnosis code No. P1A1C.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the EV-ECU

STEP 1. ?Check whether the diagnosis code is set.
|
|
|
Check if the diagnosis code No. P0ABA for other systems is set to the MCU.
|
|
|

Is the diagnosis code set?
|
|
|
Carry out troubleshooting for the diagnosis code No. P0ABA. (Refer to .)
|
|
|
|
|
|
Go to Step 2.
|
|
|
|
|
|
STEP 2. Use M.U.T.-III to confirm a diagnosis code of other systems.
|
|
|
Check if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU.
|
|
|

Is the diagnosis code set?
|
|
|
Carry out troubleshooting for the EV-ECU. (Refer to .)
Then go to Step 3.
|

Go to Step 3.
|
|

|
STEP 3. Check the main battery energy level gauge
|
|
|
Check the battery level status with the main battery level indicator in the combination
meter.
|
|
|
Q.
Is the check result normal?
|
|
|
Go to Step 4.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Charge the main battery. Then go to Step 5.
|
|
|
|
|
|
STEP 4. M.U.T.-III data list
|
|
|
Check the charging rate of the main battery in the BMU service data (refer to ).

|
|

|

Is the check result normal?
|
|
|
Go to Step 5.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Charge the main battery. Then go to Step 5.
|
|
|
|
|
|
STEP 5. Diagnosis code recheck
|
|
|
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the MCU.
|
|
|
(1)Erase the stored diagnosis code.
|
|
|
(2)Set the electric motor switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
|
|
|
(3)Set the electric motor switch to the LOCK (OFF) position, and start the electric
motor unit.

|
|
(5)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
|
|
|

Return to Step 1.
|

|
|
|
The diagnosis is complete.
