TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • The on board charger relay is turned ON.
Judgement Criterion
  • If the output is limited for more than 10 seconds due to the internal temperature increase [the internal temperature sensor should operate at more than 95°C and less than 115°C].

FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION



  • Not available

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • There is not enough coolant.
  • The water pump is failed.
  • The radiator fan is failed.
  • The temperature sensor installed in the on board charger is failed.

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. M.U.T.-III other system diagnosis code.


Q. Is diagnosis code of EV-ECU system set?

Check EV-ECU system (Refer to ).
Go to Step 2 .

STEP 2. Coolant check


note If the coolant largely decreases, check whether the coolant leakage exists or not. Repair it if necessary.

  • Coolant check (Refer to GROUP 14 - On-vehicle Service - Coolant Check ).

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3 .
Replace or supply the coolant.

STEP 3. M.U.T.-III actuator test



  • Refer to the Actruator Test Reference Table of the EV-ECU .

    1. Item 3: Water pump drive
    2. Item 4: Radiator fan 1 drive
    3. Item 5: Radiator fan 2 drive
    4. Item 9: Water pump drive 2
