Inspection Procedure 6: MAX switch operation is not accepted


PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. A/C-ECU M.U.T.-III service data
Check that the following service data MUT-III display contents are normal.

  • Item 60: MAX switch input
  • Item 72: MAX switch output

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Replace the A/C-ECU.

STEP 2. A/C-ECU M.U.T.-III service data, actuator test
Perform the following actuator tests, and check that the device works normally.

  • Item 04: MAX switch output
Check that the following service data MUT-III display contents are normal.

  • Item 60: MAX switch input
  • Item 72: MAX switch output

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Replace the A/C-ECU.

STEP 3. A/C control unit M.U.T.-III service data
Check that the following service data MUT-III display contents are normal.

  • Item 17: MAX switch control
  • Item 20: MAX switch

Q. Is the check result normal?
This diagnosis is complete.
Replace the A/C-ECU.
