DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS


These codes are set when short to earth (code No. B1021) or open circuit (code No. B1022) is detected in the fin thermo sensor circuit.

PROBABLE CAUSES




DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. M.U.T.-III data list


Check that the following service data display contents are normal.

  • Item 20: Fin thermo sensor

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 5.
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Connector check: B-10-1 fin thermo sensor connector, B-09 A/C-ECU connector


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.
Repair the damaged connector.

STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between B-10-1 fin thermo sensor connector terminal No. 1, 2 and B-09 A/C-ECU connector terminal No. 39, 38.



  • Check the input line for open or short circuit.
note Before checking the wiring harness, check the heater unit and blower assembly connector B-10 and repair it if necessary.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 4.
Repair the wiring harness.

STEP 4. Fin thermo sensor check


Refer to .

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 5.
Replace the fin thermo sensor.

STEP 5. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.


Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Replace the A/C-ECU.
